Community Embedded Researcher
Franca is our Research Fellow and Community Embedded Researcher working with The Brixton Project and colleagues from London Metropolitan University.
Franca has worked across academia and the charity sector, using qualitative and participatory methods to support communities in their social justice efforts. Her PhD examined how welcome and belonging for migrants is mobilised at community and institutional levels through the City of Sanctuary award scheme.
Franca previously worked at the Young Foundation, where she co-authored a range of reports on issues affecting communities across the UK. While working at the Youth Endowment Fund, she helped set up the Peer Action Collective (PAC).
