Early Career Researcher Lead
Ellie is a member of both our Management and Leadership teams, and acts as Early Career Researcher Lead.
Ellie is involved in work around community engagement within our Catapults, and is our resident historian developing histories of local community action with our partner organisations.
Ellie is a Researcher at the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research, specialising in the policy, theory and history of voluntary and community action in England. She has previously worked in policy, research and campaigning with a range of UK charities and trade unions over a 20-year career. She is a former Chair of the Voluntary Action History Society, and currently a board member for the Community Development Journal.
