Aunam Quyoum is a Research Fellow at Sheffield Hallam University. Her interdisciplinary background and research aligns to issues of systemic inequality, anti-racism and participatory action. She has experience of delivering research and evaluation projects across academia, charity and public sector on education and digital society. This includes a post-doctoral post at the University of Glasgow investigating the design of digital public services and wider implications related to the use of ethnicity data, privacy and AI ethics. She holds a PhD which explored discourses of belonging, identity and community cultural wealth, working with students and teachers as researchers to co-produce History and Geography curricula in primary and secondary schools.
