Co-Investigator & Co-Lead for Diversity and Place
Louise is a Co-Investigator, co-lead for the Diversity and Place research theme, and also sits within our Leadership team. She works closely with our Brixton Community Catapult to centre local lived experiences and inform our future goals and outcomes.
Louise is a Senior Professor of Sociology and Director of the Global Diversities and Inequalities Research Centre at London Metropolitan University. She is a leading scholar in the field of migration with a particular expertise in social network analysis. Louise has published 10 books and over 100 academic papers. Her research has been funded by multiple ESRC and Horizon grants. She is currently working on a Nuffield Foundation funded project on the Afghan Resettlement Scheme.
