Shahida has worked in the VCSE sector for over 25 years and has also held roles in the public and private sector at a Senior Executive level. Her passion has been financial governance, equality, equity and social justice. Having worked in the faith sector and been deeply imbedded in marginalized communities across South Yorkshire. Shahida is passionate about bringing the voice of those less often heard from centring their voice and needs into policy development, scrutiny and accountability. Shahida is a keen advocate for cross sector partnership working and community relationship building.
